Section 1: Nature of Applicant

The favorite order shortcut is the reorder button. It appears at the top of the application interface. It contains the items from the most recent order. Pressing it eliminates the need to browse, select, customize, and confirm each item individually.

The applicant has been in continuous operation since first use. The applicant requests renewal.

Section 2: Basis for Application

Someone uses a reorder button because choosing again feels like unnecessary administrative work. This is correct. Choosing again is administrative work. The service was designed to remove meal decisions from the week. The shortcut extends this service to the ordering session itself, which had quietly reacquired several minutes of decision-making.

The shortcut does not reduce the number of meals ordered. It reduces the number of decisions required per meal, which is a different service that has nonetheless been accepted as the original one.

Section 3: Consequence Chain

A small inconvenience leads someone to adopt the favorite order shortcut for the next attempt. The next attempt works, so the behavior receives more credit than the circumstances warrant. After enough repetitions, the household or group protects the favorite order shortcut from evidence that it is no longer useful. The evidence in question is the new menu items that have appeared since the order was last reviewed.

Uncertainty may be reduced only by adding a second check that creates a third question. The second check: is this still what I want? The third question: when did I last look at the rest of the menu?
