Incident Record: Monsoon Laundry Indoors
It has been raining for eight consecutive days. The drying rack has expanded from the balcony to the bedroom, the hallway, and a chair that has been reassigned.

Day One
Normal indoor drying. One rack. Living room. Clothes placed after the morning's rain prevented balcony use. Expected to clear by the afternoon. Did not clear.
Day Three
Second cycle of laundry. First cycle not fully dry. Rack space insufficient. Second rack retrieved. Second rack deployed in bedroom corner, where it has remained since.
Day Five
Third cycle. Both racks occupied. Door frames became available as a hanging alternative. Five items on door frames. Two more on a chair that had not previously had laundry responsibilities. The chair's function has been renegotiated.
Day Seven
The drying rack in the living room is now a fixture rather than a temporary deployment. Guests who visited on Saturday navigated it naturally, as one navigates furniture.
A shirt has been hanging in the hallway for four days and is dry enough to wear but cannot be accessed without squeezing past the rack that blocks the hallway portion.
The Apartment's New Layout
Standard apartment layout: living area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. Current apartment layout: living area (partial, rack present), drying corridor, bedroom (dual-purpose: sleeping and drying), bathroom (unchanged), kitchen (unchanged but approaching).
Resolution
The rain forecast shows two more days. The drying rack in the hallway will be cleared on Monday when the living room rack can absorb its contents. The bedroom rack will remain until the living room rack is clear. The chair will be reassigned when the bedroom rack is cleared.
