Finding I: The Message Construction Problem
Under the governing rule, once birthday reminder ethics becomes a courtesy ritual, efficiency is no longer an acceptable reason to skip it.
The message took eleven minutes to write. This is not because eleven minutes were required to type "Happy Birthday."
