Preliminary Findings on Certificate Travel Check
The certificate exists. Where it exists is the question that has consumed more time than the travel itself will require.

Statement of the Problem
The travel certificate exists. This has been confirmed. It was received, acknowledged, and stored at the time of issue. The question under review is not whether it exists but where it exists in a state that is (a) accessible, (b) current, and (c) in a format that the relevant authority at the destination will accept without discussion.
The certificate was received by email, printed, photographed, stored in two apps, and is now in an unknown state across all four locations simultaneously.
The Four Locations
Location 1: Original email. The original email is findable. The attachment in the original email is a version that may or may not reflect current requirements, as the requirements have been updated twice since the original certificate was issued and the email predates both updates.
Location 2: Printed copy. The printed copy was placed in a folder designated for important documents. The folder contains the printed copy and also a lease from 2018, a warranty card for an appliance that is no longer in the household, and several receipts whose purpose is no longer recoverable. The printed copy is present. Its legibility under fluorescent light at a check-in counter has not been tested.
Location 3: Health app. The health app has a certificate section. The certificate was added to the health app in August. The app was updated in September. Whether the certificate survived the update is the subject of a separate inquiry that has not yet been conducted.
Location 4: Photo in camera roll. The photograph exists. It is between a photograph of a plant and a screenshot of a recipe. It will require scrolling.
Forensic Concern
The concern is not that the certificate is unavailable. The concern is that the verification process for each location takes longer than a casual check-in scenario allows, and that performing this check in front of a counter will produce either a delay or an impression of unpreparedness that the certificate itself would not produce.
Recommendation
Conduct a full location audit before departure. Identify one authoritative source. Confirm that source against current requirements. Discard or archive the others.
This process will take approximately fifteen minutes. It has been planned for three trips. It has not been conducted.
