The Analysis

Three venues satisfied filters 1 through 6. None of those three were independent. The preference expressed in filter 7 is real but is in conflict with the preferences expressed in filters 1 through 6, which collectively describe a place that only chains in this area currently provide.

The Resolution Options

Option A: Remove filter 7 and accept a chain. The chain meets all other criteria. Option B: Remove filter 3 and try places rated below 4.5. Option C: Remove filter 5 and accept indoor seating given the weekend forecast. Option D: Expand the area beyond 3km.

Each option requires giving up something that was added as an improvement.

The search was for a place to eat, not for the optimal configuration of all possible preferences simultaneously. One of those is achievable.
