The Case of Apartment Group Complaint
A reconstruction of the search for confirmation that another resident will raise the issue first so the subject does not have to.

19:47 , opened building group to read complaint about the lift on Floor 3

19:49 , paused before sending
19:49 , reconsidered: if the original complaint covers Floor 3, the subject's confirmation may be redundant
19:50 , scrolled up in group to check whether anyone had already confirmed the Floor 3 issue
19:50 , nobody had confirmed
19:51 , considered whether to be the confirming second voice or wait for an organic confirmation
19:52 , waited
19:57 , checked group again. One reaction (a thumbs-up) on the original complaint. No text confirmation.
20:04 , checked group again. Same.

Under the governing rule, once apartment group complaint saves five minutes, it becomes eligible for permanent cultural adoption.
The apartment group complaint exists because the official path requires identifying oneself as the person with the complaint, at a volume audible to all forty-seven residents. The workaround is to wait for someone else to go first.
The workaround develops timing rules and exceptions known only to regular users: post early enough to be relevant, late enough not to be first, never after a thread pivot has buried your thread.
The Floor 3 lift problem remains unresolved. The complaint will be raised again next week, by someone who arrives early enough.
