The formal outfit was retrieved from the section of the wardrobe that has not been opened since a wedding that did not happen in 2020, then did not happen in 2021, and has now been rescheduled into a concentrated season of compensatory celebration.
The outfit fits. With modifications to expectations about what fits means.
Item 2: Contextual Background
April 2022 is not a normal wedding season. It is a backlogged wedding season. Several years of social events that were planned, postponed, cancelled, and replanned are now occurring in a sequence that the body and calendar were not originally designed to process together.
The person attended the first wedding of the season with enthusiasm. The second wedding required slightly more preparation. The recovery from the third wedding is the subject of this record.
Item 3: The Governing Contradiction
Events of this type are desired. They involve people the person cares about and experiences the person enjoys. The desire is genuine.
The recovery is also real. The recovery period has not been scheduled. Scheduling it would require acknowledging that wanted events produce exhaustion, which conflicts with the expectation that wanted events should feel easy.
They do not always feel easy.

Social recovery time is taken inside existing calendar gaps, not allocated to it explicitly. It is disguised as nothing, labeled as nothing, and distinguished from nothing by the fact that it is not available for additional plans.
The distinction is understood by the person resting. It is not communicated.
