Official Application: Recognition of Group Photo Fatigue Submitted Following the Third Event of the Season

Applicant Statement

The applicant attended three social events in April 2022. Each event was real and wanted. People were present. Enjoyment occurred.

At each event, multiple group photographs were taken. The photographs were taken because the events felt significant in a way that felt worth documenting. They were significant. The documentation was appropriate. The applicant participated fully in the documentation.

The applicant is very tired.

Incident Detail

At the first event, photographs were welcomed as evidence of return. At the second event, photographs were expected and provided with good-natured compliance. At the third event, the applicant found themselves arranging their face into a specific expression that can be deployed rapidly and holds for multiple exposures, which is an adaptation the applicant had not previously possessed.

The adaptation appeared without being developed consciously.

Structural Note

The exhaustion is not from the events. This point must be made clearly. The events were desired and are not being criticized. The exhaustion is from the volume of events within a compressed calendar, which is itself the result of two years in which events could not occur, which means the exhaustion is a direct consequence of events that were wanted.

This is difficult to explain to anyone who also wanted the events.

Social Recovery Time

The time required to recover from wanted social events is not acknowledged as a category separate from ordinary rest. It is taken inside existing gaps in the schedule. It is taken silently.

Application Status

Recognition requested. No further commitments until May.
