Current Status
The map pin remains in motion. The user is dragging it by increments of one to three pixels, pausing to assess, and dragging again. The original pin location has not been definitively established as wrong. It has also not been definitively established as right. The dragging continues under these conditions.
The governing rule: when a digital control creates doubt, additional clicking is recognized as a valid audit method.
Activity Log
The session began when the user dropped a pin at what appeared to be the correct address. The satellite view showed a building. The street view showed a slightly different building. This created a small question. The pin was moved to address the question.
Moving the pin created a new position that was slightly less certain than the first.
The pin's original position was correct. This has not been established, which is why the dragging continues.
