Progress Summary
Someone moves a charging cable between work spots because devices now follow every room of the day. The cable has not caught up with the devices. The devices have not slowed down to match the cable.
Q3 Progress Review
Three cables were in the household at the start of Q3. One was located. One was known to be somewhere in the living room. One was last seen in a bag that had since been used for several other purposes.
Q4 Progress (Current)
The cable situation has not improved. The devices have multiplied. The charge requirements of the household have exceeded the infrastructure's ability to meet them in any given room at any given time. This is a resource allocation problem. It has been addressed through an ad hoc cable-retrieval process that requires approximately two minutes per relocation, which across the household amounts to a nontrivial daily expenditure of time and mild frustration.
First consequence. The first case of charging cable migration changes one small decision without being discussed. A dedicated charging station is considered. The consideration is documented in a note application. The charging station has not been purchased. The consideration remains active.
Second consequence. After repetition, other people begin adjusting their behavior around charging cable migration. Cable locations are communicated verbally between household members. The communication is accurate at the time of delivery and outdated within the hour. The cable has been moved again.
