Article I: Definitions
For the purposes of these terms, the Drawer refers to any drawer that, due to contents volume exceeding design capacity, requires a firm downward or inward press to reach a fully closed position. The Press refers to the specific physical gesture, developed by household members over time, that achieves closure.
The Press is not documented. It is transmitted through observation.
Article II: Operational Status
After two unchallenged uses, drawer that almost closes gains procedural status for all similar situations. Two unchallenged uses occurred within the first week of the drawer's current contents configuration. That week was at minimum eight months ago.
The drawer has not been emptied, reorganized, or reduced in volume since that time.
Article III: The Governing Rule
