What Is Being Classified
A digital service was enrolled under a free trial arrangement. The trial period ends at a specified date. A calendar reminder was set fourteen days prior to that date, to allow time for cancellation.

The billing date passed. The charge appeared on the monthly statement. The service was not cancelled.
Classification Criteria
Under the criteria governing household digital subscriptions, a service satisfying two of three conditions shall be classified as Chosen:
- The billing cycle has renewed at least once without cancellation action
- The household references the service by name in conversation
- The service appears in at least one inter-household negotiation regarding expenses
The Free Trial Calendar satisfies all three conditions.
Current Status
The service feels optional each day while billing treats it as permanent. This is not a contradiction. This is the classification event.
Free Trial Calendar survives one more billing cycle per reminder missed. The household starts planning around its continued existence. A temporary service gains permanent budget status through inaction. The inaction is not negligence; it is a preference that has not yet been formally acknowledged as such.
Effective Date
The reclassification is retroactive to the second billing cycle.
The household retains the right to cancel. The cancellation window is always open. A new calendar reminder may be set at any time.
No new reminder has been set. This notice is issued in the absence of one.
