The delivery is eleven minutes away. The map has been open for eight minutes. The rider has moved two streets. Each movement has been observed.

I have been watching your progress for eight minutes. I am aware that you cannot see this message or know that you are being watched. I am also aware that my watching has no effect on your speed.
I am continuing to watch.
Your current position is approximately three streets from this building. The map shows you moving in the correct direction. At 7:35pm, there was a period of four minutes where you appeared stationary outside a building that is not this building. This was noted. I refreshed the app twice during this period. You resumed movement at 7:39pm. I was pleased.

Map updates occur every thirty seconds. The refresh you performed at 7:36pm produced a result identical to the update that had been provided automatically at 7:35pm. The refresh at 7:37pm also produced no new information.
The rider is moving. The map will update when the location changes sufficiently to produce a visible movement on the screen. Refreshing the app does not accelerate this process.

The estimated time was eight minutes when I first opened the map. It is now showing six minutes. The estimate has been recalculated twice in the time I have been watching. Each recalculation has produced an estimate slightly shorter than the previous one, which I interpret as positive.
