Item 1: Background
The desk faces east. The sun rises in the east. These two facts were known at the time the desk was placed, and the desk was placed there because it was the only wall with sufficient clearance. The decision was made. The glare was not a condition but a feature of the decision.
Window glare negotiation was opened at 9:47 AM when the first call began. The action taken was moving the monitor seventeen centimeters to the left. This created a shadow across the keyboard but reduced the glare by approximately forty percent. Whether forty percent is sufficient was not formally resolved.
Item 2: Tool Acquisition

A small cardboard square, cut from a Swiggy box, has been used as a glare shield on three separate occasions. It leans against the monitor stand between uses. It is not a product. Uncertainty may be reduced only by adding a second check that creates a third question. The first check is: is the glare affecting the camera. The second check is: is the screen still legible from the current angle. The third question is: would a lamp solve this permanently, and if so, which lamp.
The lamp question has been open since October.
Item 4: Current Status
The home setup was meant to simplify work. Every boundary that the office previously maintained by existing now requires a ritual to substitute for it. The cardboard square is one such ritual. It is not elegant. It is available.
