Any repeated family sticker vocabulary becomes family duty once two relatives acknowledge it.

By December 2022, someone understood one relative's entire emotional range through the same six stickers. This was not a complaint. It was a finding.
The six stickers had accumulated over the life of the family group chat. None of them had been selected as a permanent repertoire. They had simply recurred with a frequency that made them the vocabulary, and the vocabulary was now sufficient for most occasions.
Six stickers covered approval, concern, congratulation, sympathy, celebration, and something that could be any of these depending on context. The context was usually inferable.

Cheap mobile data and years of family chat habit had made parent and relative groups a constant layer of daily life in 2022 India. The sticker sent in thirty seconds carried the same information as a reply that would have taken three minutes to compose. The information received was equivalent. The time cost was not.
After repetition, other people begin adjusting their behavior around family sticker vocabulary. A family member began using the same stickers in response to the relative's messages, which were themselves already in sticker form. The exchange compressed. The warmth was unaffected.

Until then it is an experiment. The vocabulary is not hostile to new entries. It is simply slow to adopt them.
