Progress Report on Missed Workout Compensation

One skipped session produces a replacement plan that no one is authorized to cancel.

Reporting Period: April 14,19, 2024 Subject: Missed Workout Compensation Protocol Status: Ongoing , no resolution projected

Period Overview

The subject missed one ordinary workout session on April 14. The session was of standard duration and posed no exceptional demands. Within four hours of the missed session, the subject had formulated a replacement plan of significantly greater ambition: two sessions, one extended, one incorporating a new component not previously attempted.

Current Status

The replacement plan remains unexecuted. It has, however, been revised three times.

Revision one added a preparatory stretching block. Revision two extended the preparatory stretching block because the subject determined that the original duration was insufficient for the demands of the compensatory workout, which had itself been extended. Revision three introduced a recovery day immediately following the compensatory session, creating a four-day arc to address one skipped forty-minute walk.

Metrics

| Metric | Original Session | Compensation Plan | |---|---|---| | Duration | 40 minutes | 95 minutes | | Sessions required | 1 | 2 | | Recovery days | 0 | 1 | | Preparatory steps | 0 | 1 stretching block, 12 minutes | | Times revised | n/a | 3 |

Factors

Once the compensation plan acquired a preparatory block, the block became standard. Standard. It was logged, scheduled, and treated as a prerequisite for all future sessions, including those that were not compensatory in nature.

The original session required none of this.

Observations

There is nothing wrong with the plan. This is the problem. It is internally coherent, properly sequenced, and technically achievable. Under the governing rule, correcting missed workout compensation requires more authority than simply repeating it, and no such authority has been invoked.

The subject's tracking application now reflects the compensation plan as the default. The original session duration is not visible anywhere on the current interface.

Next Period

No interventions are planned. The compensatory session will be attempted, revised, or carried forward to the next reporting period. The preparatory stretching block will occur regardless.
